Professor Lee has been working as a freelance interpreter and translator since 1991. She worked for many government agencies including the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Maritime and Fisheries, the Ministry of Information, and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, as well as major businesses such as Samsung SDS and Hyundai Motor Company. From 1996 to 2007, she served as a staff interpreter at Taylor Nelson Sofres, a leading market research firm in Seoul.
Professor Sohn is a freelance conference interpreter and translator. She has worked in international conferences on politics, finance, computer science, and telecommunications. She has also worked as an in-house interpreter for a major company in Korea for 4 years, during which she has interpreted for business reengineering and ERP package implementation projects. Her translation work includes various types of documents released by the Korean government and Korean businesses. She taught at Hankuk University before joining the Monterey Institute.
Professor Choi is a freelance translator, interpreter, and localization consultant. She has translated various types of document and interpreted numerous conferences on business, education, engineering, IT, law etc. She has also actively internationalized and localized many products with major IT companies in Silicon Valley. Professor Choi joined the Institute after previously teaching at Handong Global University in Korea.
