A fundraising drive launched by the Monterey Institute’s international campus community following last month’s devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan has raised over $27,000 to support relief efforts.
Hundreds of students, faculty, staff and alumni celebrated the diversity of the campus community April 16 at the annual Monterey Institute International Bazaar, a feast of international cuisine, traditions and entertainment.

This Friday at 12:15 p.m., the Monterey Institute will host a panel discussion on “Earthquake, Tsunami, and Nuclear Troubles in Japan: Facts and Future Implications" featuring four campus experts. The event will be streamed live on the internet.
