Growing up in Minnesota surrounded by international families, Myneisha always dreamed of going abroad. In college she decided to study abroad in Venezuela, and her rewarding experience abroad inspired her to build an international career. Eager for more international experience, she moved to Panama to teach English with World Teach. After a year in Panama, she knew that she had chosen the right path and was ready to take her career to the next level by pursuing a master's degree in International Education, with Spanish as her language of study.

“I decided that it was time to go to graduate school, and that’s where the Middlebury Institute of International Studies came into play. I wanted to make a change, and I wanted people to experience what I have been experiencing all my life.”
