Alyssum Pohl will be graduating in May with a MA in International Environmental Policy with a focus on ocean conservation, policy and sustainable aquaculture.  Last summer, Alyssum had a Center for the Blue Economy Fellowship in Washington D.C. with the Aquaculture Program at the World Wildlife Fund. This dream internship gave her the opportunity to help improve the sustainability of global aquaculture by working on the creation and streamlining of sustainable international certification standards.

It also turns out that Alyssum is a wicked awesome dancer! She has been dancing her entire life and has trained in dance forms from around the world.  She started studying tribal-style bellydancing in 1998 with Sri Tarasita, director of Rakadu Gypsy, which helped launch her performance style.
