Have you ever heard Romeo and Juliet in Chinese or The Empire Strikes Back in Arabic? Every summer language students at the Monterey Institute come together to put on a talent show, sharing their newfound language skills with family and friends.
As a Summer Intensive Language Program participant, you'll spend eight 40 hour weeks in small ten person classes honing your language skills. The experience goes beyond the classroom to include conversation hours, cultural events, field trips, and a wide variety of extra-curricular activities which allow you to explore culture and practice the language in an authentic setting.
Learn more how to apply for summer 2011 sessions before the April 29 deadline. This year classes are offered in Arabic, Chinese, French, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.
