Rosie Osire: Reflections from the Global Trade and Development Program

Although Rosie was born in Kenya, she has lived in various countries all over the world and thus considers herself to be a citizen of the world. She is particularly passionate about economic development in Africa and has interned in various African countries, tackling development issues ranging from HIV/AIDS to agriculture. In addition to her studies at Wellesley, Rosie is greatly involved in organizations that focus on youth involvement in entrepreneurship, such as the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).
