Where are you currently working?
I am the graduate assistant to the Monterey institute's Study Abroad Advisor, in the Center for Advising & Career Services.
I'm responsible for making all information about study abroad opportunities accessible and accurate for advisors' use with students. I also develop marketing materials and collect data.
What's your dream job?
I hope to design and run a study abroad program focused on service learning and social change.
How is the International Education Management (IEM) program preparing you for this career?
Through the program, I'm gaining all sorts of knowledge on international education systems, exchanges, histories, policies and more! The MPA program provides an additional perspective that focuses more on my desire to work in service-learning and social change. Between these two programs I am learning the specifics of both international exchange as well as international development and aid.
