The new student Welcome Center is your place to check-in! It is also a one-stop-shop for all of your most pressing questions: housing, insurance, financial aid, academic advising and more! See below for schedule.

Late Arrivals Policy

Orientation:

All incoming students are required to attend Orientation. In exceptional circumstances, if you are unable to attend any of the sessions, you must contact your Career & Academic Advisor who will ensure you receive all pertinent information.

Courses:

Students must arrive by the start of Orientation. In the case of an unavoidable late arrival, students must arrive no later than the first day of the second week of the semester. Exceptions to this policy can only be granted by the Dean of the Graduate School for International Policy and Management or the Graduate School for Translation, Interpretation and Language Education.

Notification Process

Step 1

Notify your Career & Academic Advisor and the Assistant Dean for Career & Academic Advising immediately if you know you will be unable to arrive to campus for the start of classes.

Step 2
Your Career & Academic Advisor will inform you of next steps and connect you to the relevant program chair and faculty so you can coordinate late arrival details.
