The Carmel Unified School District serves Carmel-by-the-Sea and the Carmel Valley. They have excellent public primary and secondary schools, and the location is not too far from the Monterey Institute campus.
The North Monterey County School District serves all of North Monterey County, which includes the city of Salinas. Located approximately 30 minutes north of Monterey, Salinas is an easy commute to your classes.
Monterey Bay Kids is a great resource for finding fun activities to do with your kids in the area. It has information on family friendly beaches, parks, camps and other extracurricular activities that are available to you.
