The Center hosts international seminars and conferences as part of its research and intellectual exchange of researchers and research institutions in the United States and abroad.
CEAS DIRECTOR SPEAKS IN MONGOLIA Professor Akaha, CEAS Director, was a guest speaker at the international conference "Towards Building and Strengthening the Role of Mongolia in Northeast Asia," in Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia, on February 23-24, 2006. The conference adopted policy recommendations for the Mongolian government and submitted them to President Enkhbayar of Mongolia. The conference was organized by the Mongolian Development Research Center (MDRC), a non-governmental organization in Mongolia's capital.
