How do I audit a class?
Easy and green method to add a class as an audit:
Email the Professor of the class requesting to audit.
If the Professor approves, forward the approval email to the Records Office. Include your eight digit student ID number, the CRN (course reference number), and title of the course. You are done!
The course will be added to your schedule, and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
View your audit status by logging onto BannerWeb and looking at the Student Detail Schedule.
Pick up a green Add/Drop form at the Records Office, the Center for Advising and Career Services or your Graduate School. Enter the course information on the form and where you would normally list the number of course credits, write in AUDIT. Have the Professor sign his/her approval. (If you cannot meet with the Professor you may print out an email from the Professor granting you approval to audit the course.) Bring the form to the Records Office and we will register you for the audit.
