Since 2010, when the Institute became part of Middlebury, we have taken steps to integrate information technology services to provide students, faculty and staff with an optimal infrastructure for teaching, learning, communication and information management. Many of the tools used at the Institute, from email to Banner to the Institute's web site, are now managed by Middlebury's Information Technology Services (ITS).
As technology services and network infrastructure are gradually becoming more integrated, it makes sense for us to align policies for the use of these resources to the extent possible given the differences in scope and scale of our campus computing environments. In matters pertaining to privacy, security, and responsible use of computing facilities, the Institute faculty, staff and students are subject to Middlebury Information Technology Services policies.
