Amory Lovins presents "Winning the Oil Endgame" ~ Thursday, December 7, 2006

The Monterey Institute of International Studies and The Cebrowski Institute at the Naval Postgraduate School are honored to welcome Amory Lovins. He will present "Winning the Oil Endgame" in the Irvine Auditorium at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, 499 Pierce Street, Monterey, CA. The lecture will be held from 7:00 - 8:30pm. The event is free and open to the public.

Amory Lovins' 29th book Winning the Oil Endgame, Innovation for Profits, Jobs and Security offers a strategy for ending US oil dependence, and is applicable worldwide.  There are many analyses of the oil problem. Published in September 2004, this synthesis is the first roadmap of the oil solution - one led by business for profit.

Amory Lovins, a MacArthur Fellow and consultant physicist, has advised the energy and other industries for nearly three decades as well as the US Department of Energy and Defense. He co-founded and leads Rocky Mountain Institute an independent, market-oriented, nonprofit applied research center. Much of its work is synthesized in Natural Capitalism. RMI spun off E Source in 1992 and Hypercar, Inc., which he chairs, in 1999.
