The Monterey Institute will celebrate its 50th Anniversary during Academic Year 2005-2006.  Over the year, the Institute will mark this auspicious milestone in a variety of ways, including special speakers and a gala event.  The Anniversary will kick off with a Convocation on September 9 and continue throughout the year.  Plans for many of the events are proceeding and should be finalized soon – more details will follow in the near future.

• 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner ~ Thursday, December 1

The Monterey Institute of International Studies invites you to join in its 50th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, December 1st.  The Gala dinner will feature Robert S. McNamara, former Secretary of Defense and the subject of the recent documentary, "The Fog of War".  Tickets are $250 per person and seating is limited.  For more information please call (831) 647-3523.
