The Monterey Institute of International Studies is located on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula, 130 miles south of San Francisco. This prestigious institute has graduate programs in Language Teaching and Translation and Interpretation that provide excellent resources for training JET participants.
JET Prep program participants will receive intensive Japanese language instruction by language teaching professions along with cultural understanding and workplace awareness workshops. Program dates are July 12-30, 2004.
Monterey is a small city with an international flavor. The Monterey Institute campus is centrally located within easy walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Program participants will have access to Monterey Institute facilities and services, including library facilities, IBM and Macintosh computer labs, audiovisual services, student center, and cafeteria.
