Why do I give to the Institute? I don’t see it as giving; I see it as giving back to a place that gave me so many things, such as the education and skills to pursue a great career taught in a wonderful learning environment. Most importantly it gave me a great group of friends from different cultures, with different experiences and from all parts of the globe. ANNUAL FUND

A donation to the Monterey Institute Annual Fund directly supports the Institute's core mission: educating and preparing global professionals to make a difference in the world. By giving yearly, making your support truly annual and sustainable, you both give and "give back" to this vital, meaningful community.

The Annual Fund provides critical funding for the Institute's greatest needs: student financial aid, faculty support, and tools for teaching. You can designate your Annual Fund gift in one or more of these four ways:

• Unrestricted Support. The most immediate, versatile gift you can make is an unrestricted donation to the Institute's Annual Fund. These flexible funds are used to address the greatest needs, allowing the Institute to sustain and extend core programs and seize new opportunities.
  
  
• Student scholarship aid. The Monterey Institute provides some form of financial aid to 80% of its students, adding up to $4 million per year. The combined generosity of many Annual Fund donors will allow us to increase our financial aid support, giving more help to more students. • Faculty Support. By designating your gift for faculty support, you extend the Institute’s core commitment to teaching and research, ensuring that our faculty have the tools they need to offer a vigorous, challenging, and relevant education.



• Giving by School. Alumni connected to individual graduate schools or certificate programs, or friends of the Institute drawn to address global needs in a specific area of impact, may wish to earmark their giving.
