With a gift of $2,500 or more in a year to the Monterey Institute Annual Fund or other Institute needs, you become a member of the Founders' Circle. Your support at this level builds flexible funding to pursue our core mission, provides financial aid, faculty support, and tools for teaching. You may choose to donate unrestricted funds, or designate your gift in support of Institute priorities that are closest to your interests and goals.
The Monterey Institute Legacy Society recognizes people who support the Institute through a bequest or life income gift. This form of long-term giving is vitally important to the Institute, supporting generations of students and their teachers by building endowment and sustained flexible funds.
You become a Monterey Institute Legacy Society member by including the Institute in your estate plans or life income gifts. Legacy Society members receive a special pin which recognizes their generosity.
Donor recognition events offer a welcome chance to meet our benefactors in person and present them with an opportunity to meet one another. Members of the Founders' Circle and Legacy Society are invited to two annual gatherings with Monterey Institute President and distinguished guest speakers. Founders' Circle and Legacy Society members also receive priority seating at Spring Commencement festivities.
