THANKS TO YOU, we exceeded our goal for the June Challenge and secured $25,000 from chair of the Institute Board of Overseers and Middlebury Trustee George C. Lee II ’88.
Your help in meeting the challenge is a gift to MIIS students in need of valuable scholarship support. Those who responded to the challenge generated an additional $347,063 for financial aid, research centers, memorial scholarships, and important MIIS programs. That means $372,063 will go to work right away for students and their educational experiences at MIIS!

MIIS Board Member Jed Smith has presented the Monterey Institute community with an exciting challenge. If 250 alumni and friends of the Institute make a gift of any size in the next 25 days, he will match these gifts with $25,000 for financial aid. Spread the word!
An anonymous donor has given $2.1 million to create two new scholarship funds honoring the former and current presidents of the Monterey Institute.
More than 80 people gathered at the Marriott Hotel, overlooking Monterey Bay, to celebrate and honor this year’s group of 61 scholarship recipients and their donors at the Institute’s Third Annual Named Scholarship Luncheon on April 11.
