Longtime Board Member Jed Smith presented the Monterey Institute with an exciting challenge in June: If 250 alumni and friends made a gift in 25 days (June 5-30), he would make a gift of $25,000 to financial aid.
Our community went beyond this challenge, with over 450 alumni and friends stepping up and raising over $100,000! Gifts are still being processed and we will know the exact amount in the coming weeks.
Financial aid ensures that great students from all kinds of backgrounds can come together at the Monterey Institute. We send our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to Jed Smith and to all of you who have created a world of opportunities for fantastic students.
Collectively, we can make a difference.
We focus on five fundraising priorities: scholarships, faculty support, immersive learning, Annual Fund, and research centers.
