The room buzzed with lively conversations among students, scholarship donors, Institute friends, staff, and members of the Board of Governors. This year’s guests also included Middlebury College President Ron Liebowitz.
The Annual Named Scholarship Luncheon each year highlights one named scholarship with a short feature video presentation. This year’s selection was the Les Zambo Memorial Scholarship, now in its 10th year. Named in honor of the much-loved professor of International Business, it has been awarded to 18 students studying business, finance, and accounting.
The Monterey Institute appreciates those who have supported named scholarships over the years. As President Ramaswamy said in his keynote address, “Each one of the students here today has his or her own story to tell about their hopes and dreams, and how they expect their degree from the Monterey Institute to help them achieve those goals. And every one of them is grateful to the donor or donors who are helping them along the way on their journey.” Thank you.
