Micro-philanthropy

Earn money for your project with the Institute and GlobalGiving.

Do you have a MIIS-related project?

The Monterey Institute is teaming up with GlobalGiving.com, a micro-philanthropy site, to raise money for student projects. Micro-philanthropy allows for project leaders to directly connect with potential donors to make the project a reality.

GlobalGiving will act as a platform for select, MIIS-related initiatives. If you or your student group would like to be featured on GlobalGiving and raise money for your project, please apply using the document below.

Project guidelines: The project must be Institute related and can include opportunities for building professional skills and experience, experiential learning and service, intercultural competence, innovation, and a positive impact on the Peninsula community. We recommend taking a look at projects on GlobalGiving.com for ideas on how to present your project.
