Maggie Peters leads the management and implementation of a host of alumni-focused programs, including the Alumni Achievement Awards (AAA), the Student Alumni Speaker Series (SASS), enhanced chapter development and volunteer engagement projects and will play a key role in the planning and development of Reunion 2015. She is an alumna of the Monterey Institute, and spent the past three years working as an integral member of the Center for Advising and Career Services (CACS) team as an advisor to hundreds of MIIS students and alumni.
During her three years as a student at MIIS, Maggie took advantage of the many opportunities to explore the diverse offerings of programs, activities and individuals. She traveled with Team El Salvador II and III, serving as a student participant and project leader. She was one of the student co-founders of Our Green Thumb, the Institute’s community garden that is still thriving today due to strong student and community involvement. Maggie also served as President of MIIS Net Impact chapter and Co-President of the Minneapolis Professional Net Impact chapter.
Maggie holds an MBA and MA in International Environmental Policy from the Monterey Institute, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Siena College.
