In addition to hosting our annual Career Fair, the Center for Advising & Career Services regularly works with employers to customize ways to increase engagement on campus and gain exposure to the Institute students and alumni.

Conduct Interviews through OCR

Our On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) program allows you to recruit candidates for your open positions, review application materials, and set up interview schedules with ease.  Whether you're able to join us on campus or prefer to interview remotely, OCR can help streamline your recruitment experience. 

Host an Information Session

Hosting an information session on the Institute campus provides you with the opportunity to promote your organization to our students.  Even if you are not recruiting for open positions, our students welcome opportunities to interact with organizations to determine how their skills can match your future needs.  

Participate in MIISion Connect

MIISion Connect provides opportunities for our students to connect with and serve the Monterey County non-profit community. Tap into the skills and knowledge of our students by participating in course projects that directly relate to your organization’s needs. Use Your Zócalo Account

Use Zócalo, our online career management platform, to post and update current openings, search and download resume books, and actively participate in our OCR program.  As an employer recruiting with us, you can open your own account free of charge.

Post an Opportunity

We post open positions in Zócalo. There are several ways to post an opportunity for our students and alumni.  You can post the position and review applications directly through your own Zócalo account, as described above.  Or you can request that our office manage the posting on your behalf.  Email careers@miis.edu with the position description and application instructions.

Meet with Us During Recruiting Trips

The Center for Advising & Career Services has organized several trips for our students and alumni to connect with employers in Silicon Valley, Washington, D.C., and New York City.  If you are interested in hosting a session during one of our visits, please contact us to explore your options.
