In general, the Monterey Institute follows the Associated Press Stylebook, with Webster's New World College Dictionary as first reference for spellings, style,uses and geographic names. For publication issues not addressed by AP, follow the Chicago Manual of Style, 14th Edition. These references are available in the Coleman Library.
All print materials on campus, as well as articles, press releases and publications for the public, should complement and help preserve the Institute's identity and distrinctions. The guidelines below supplement and, in some cases of variance, supersede the above references.
