Kade Language Technology Center,
Teaching and Learning Collaborative Computer Labs
The William G. Craig Building is named for a president of the Monterey Institute who is credited with bringing stability and solvency to the school in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Originally a 1930s men’s boarding house, the building was purchased by trustee Jean Thomas and donated to the Institute in the late 1980s. It was completely renovated and remodeled in 2000 with a grant from the Max Kade Foundation. Today it houses the Max Kade Language and Technology Center and our Teaching & Learning Collaborative, which consists of computer labs, offices and a student technology lounge. |
