Audiovisual Center
A & B Classrooms
Named after inventor, artist, and Pebble Beach developer Samuel F.B. Morse, the Morse Classroom building was constructed in the mid 1960s. The original building contained the library, student lounge, faculty lounge, four faculty offices, library storage, a lecture hall and 13 classrooms.
The two buildings (A & B) have been modified. In 1991 the Morse Lecture Hall was remodeled and in 1999 the audiovisual/media center was upgraded. There are a total of 21 classrooms on two floors, and basement storage. The Morse Building was the first academic structure at the Monterey Institute. |
