Jobs & Internships

Jobs and Internships

David Reichbaum (MPA '09) works with indigenous communities in Cusco, Peru via ProWorld's cocinas mejoradas project.

Our students and alumni leave their footprints around the world. They teach English in East Timor, promote nuclear nonproliferation in Vienna, spark grassroots development in El Salvador, and more...

We are available to help our students and alumni navigate the career search terrain. As you begin, set aside time to polish your cover letter and resume, attend our professional development workshops, and expand your professional network.

Additionally, you'll have many opportunities to pursue internship and field experiences through the International Professional Service Semester, the Development Practicum, and winter practica courses.

Search Tools

Zócalo Icon

We have designed Zócalo, an online advising platform, to transform the job and internship search process for our students and alumni.

Here you will find the following tools:

  • A database of jobs, fellowships, and internship positions that we update daily. You can save and print search results, add favorites, and conduct advanced searches.
  • A database of over 2,000 local, regional, and international organizations.
  • A personal profile where you will develop a study plan and resume, collaborate with advisors, and build your personal brand.

We have created two short videos to orient you to the Zócalo system. Check out Part 1 and Part 2 here.
