B.U.I.L.D. Language Club

B.U.I.L.D. is a student-run organization that provides low-level language classes to the Monterey Institute community. It’s a great opportunity to put language teaching theory into practice and gain professional experience along the way.

Language Teaching Practicum

This is a language teaching course that provides students with an opportunity for supervised teaching experience in ESL or foreign language classes. This course can be completed during the school year or the summer.

Language Programs on Campus

Language teaching students can also apply for positions with the Monterey Institute’s Summer Intensive Language Programs and Intensive English Programs. We also welcome you to apply to be an instructor in our Custom Language Programs.

Course Projects

There are opportunities throughout your degree program to work for real world projects such as the Middlebury-Monterey Language AcademyFulbright's English Preparation Courses and the Seaside Peace Resource Center.
