Environmental Policy Internships
Our students build on the professional curriculum offered at the Monterey Institute over the summer and during the academic year by participating in internships at a variety of government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and private businesses.
Center for Blue Economy (CBE) Fellows Anja Mondragon and Anna Lui work on coral reef conservation in Tobacco Caye, Belize.
We have developed relationships with a variety of local organizations where students work at paid and unpaid internships throughout the year. We also offer special programs that provide opportunities for students to earn a semester’s worth of academic credit while working full-time with leading environmental organizations. All of these internships help students gain professional experience, make valuable contacts in their field, and often lead directly to job offers.
