Graduates of the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Teaching Foreign Language (TFL) programs frequently find themselves generating ideas, designing new projects, and implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies.

Thanks to a curriculum that integrates theory and practice, they are offered opportunities in the following fields:

  • language program administration
  • technology enhanced language learning
  • testing and assessment
  • editing and publishing
  • curriculum design
  • teacher training

Many of our recent alumni teach at the K-12, university, or community college levels in the United States, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Several have joined the Peace Corps or the U.S. Department of State's English Language Fellow Program.
