Internships and Fellowships
Internships
Check out what just a few of our International Environmental Policy students were up to this past summer:
Kristin McKee worked for the Portola Plaza Hotel in Monterey, CA on the LEED Certification Process and also spent the summer studying for the LEED Green Associate Exam.
Caroline (Polly) Peckenham worked for Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Environmental and Watershed Research in Maine this summer, where she assisted with state-wide outreach, education, and sustainability initiatives.
Michael Perry had an internship with the Ecologic Institute for International and European Environmental Policy in Berlin, Germany this summer.
Brett Wertz worked at the US Environmental Protection Agency's National Center for Environmental Innovation in Washington, DC. He assisted the EPA in planning and hosting the 2009 Environmental Evaluators Networking Forum and drafted reports based on information that emerged from conference working groups.
Fellowships
Additionally, our students receive prestigious fellowships each year to continue their professional development. For example, Lacey Raak received a Fulbright award to conduct research on sustainable development in Indonesia.
