General questions on courses, scheduling an appointment with Dean Miller, information regarding Center staff and other staff/faculty on campus
Janet Lyon comes to The Monterey Institute as the Dean's Assistant with over 20 years experience in higher education. She worked as Department Coordinator in the Art and Art History Department at Pomona College, Scripps College in the Dean's Office and 10 years managing the front office in the Counseling Center at a community college. After moving from Southern California 5 years ago, she most recently worked with a large architecture firm on the peninsula and in the catering department at a local resort. As the Dean's Assistant and Advisor in The Center for Advising and Career Services, Janet assists the Dean with administrative tasks and assists students, faculty and staff with a range of questions and requests.
