  • A hi-tech instrument start up. Member of the executive team responsible for developing and implementing the sales, advertising and marketing strategy for the company and its products. Sold Sealcheck 210 to Fortune 20 Medical Device Companies and was responsible for the subsequent account management. Project managed the installation of Sealcheck 210 at the customer’s facilities. Launched and managed an advertising and promotional campaign to the Medical Device Industry for the company and its products via traditional and web based media.

Carrier Corporation

LAO 2000 Associate. July 1996 - March 1997. Miami, FL

  • Member of a high performance team for Carrier’s Latin American Organization (LAO) analyzing all aspects of the company’s $500 million businesses; defining problems, analyzing and synthesizing findings, developing and communicating recommendations and designing change programs.

  • Responsible for the Core Service Business Sales of $18.7 Million. Co-developed and implemented the necessary marketing programs to achieve the core service sales objective. Created, implemented and managed fundamental and innovative business process tools for a $6.6 million service branch.

  • Managed service and modernization requirements for a portfolio of 700 elevators and 250 clients.
  • Exceeded sales objectives by 50% for 1992 & 1993 fiscal years.

Carrier Air Conditioners. Madrid, Spain

  • Analyzed customer satisfaction surveys and proposed implementation of various marketing programs to respond to customers requests.
  • Investigated information and communication difficulties between the factory and the distribution centers. Proposed the implementation of an economic model to rationalize factory inventory and to forecast sales.

  • Researched and analyzed infrastructure, businesses and markets of UTC's largest Italian clients (IRI, ENI, EFIM).
  • Implemented a computer communications link between UTIC and UTC-Corporate.

Microtecnica - Hamilton Standard. Turin, Italy

  • Negotiated materials and components contracts worth $5 million for the JFC - 118 fuel control system. Achieved 5% in cost savings.
  • Introduced a materials cost reduction program. Implemented a computer link to Hamilton Standard US purchasing database.

  • Coordinated and co-managed a project team for the evaluation of adopting a single European corporate identity in preparation for the Single European Market of 1992.
