Ask me about Public Administration, Peace Corps

Undergrad The Evergreen State College

Fast Fact I cook a mean lasagna.

My Journey to MIIS After I graduated from the Evergreen State College, I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in El Salvador. As fate would have it, a few of my closest friends in the Peace Corps were MIIS students (including my country director). It appeared that fate was pushing me toward this place and I am so glad that I followed along.

Language of Study Spanish

Immersive Opportunities I studied abroad for a semester in Cusco, Peru, and for an entire academic year in Valparaíso, Chile.

Student Life Some fellow students and I founded the Miistery Machine, Middlebury’s premier beach volleyball club. I am also a member of Miisfits, the softball team, and plan to get involved in the Peace Corps Club.

My Favorite Things about Monterey After living abroad for many years, I’ve found that Middlebury’s international community is unmatched. I’ve met people from all around the globe and learn something new about foreign cultures every single day. Studying at Middlebury is like studying abroad in several different countries at once.
