Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey

We offer Rangel Fellows a guaranteed scholarship, combined with your Rangel Fellowship tuition assistance, to cover 100% of tuition.

Rangel Graduate Fellowship Program

The Rangel Program is a U.S. State Department program that prepares outstanding young people for careers as diplomats in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State. The program seeks individuals interested in helping to shape a freer, more secure and prosperous world through formulating, representing, and implementing U.S. foreign policy. The program encourages the application of members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, women, and those with financial need.

Middlebury Institute Guaranteed Scholarship for Rangel Fellows

We’ve partnered with the Rangel Program to provide guaranteed scholarships to Rangel Fellows who enroll at the Middlebury Institute. Your scholarship award will cover the difference between your Rangel Fellowship tuition assistance award and full-time tuition at the Institute. In total, 100% of your tuition will be covered.

We recognize Rangel Fellows and their commitment to international policy and service as a valuable part of our campus community and global alumni network. You'll also become a Dean's Fellow at the Middlebury Institute, joining a small, selective seminar where students discuss global issues and future career opportunities.
