The Monterey Institute offers a wide variety of scholarship opportunities for people who apply to our master's and bachelor's degree programs by our priority application deadline. These opportunities include merit scholarships, language scholarships, and scholarships related to service in the Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Fulbright, JET, and more!

Monterey Institute Merit ScholarshipAll admitted applicants are considered for the Monterey Institute Merit Scholarship. You must submit your complete application for admission by the priority scholarship deadlines. Our next deadline is June 1 for fall 2013 admission.

Summer Language ScholarshipsEach year, applicants to the Monterey Institute degree programs may also be eligible for language study scholarships prior to fall enrollment. Please follow links below: |

Betty and David Jones Language ScholarshipThis scholarship offers students the opportunity to take advantage of the combined language and international study resources of the Monterey Institute and Middlebury Language Schools. Only new applicants for degree programs at the Monterey Institute are eligible. Apply by February 1, 2013. |

Kathryn Davis Language FellowshipThese fellowships are made possible by a $1 million gift from Kathryn Davis to address today’s critical need for more effective language proficiency. Candidates for 2013 may apply directly to Middlebury Language Schools. The deadline is January 14, 2013 and awards will be announced on March 8, 2013. |

Outside Scholarships
The Monterey Institute's Office of Student Financial Planning maintains a list of Outside Scholarship Information for students to access for additional financial resources. These organizations may provide scholarships, fellowships, and grants to students. We recommend that you research the organizations on this list, along with performing your own scholarship search, to see if you are eligible to apply. All questions regading eligiblity should be directed toward the host ogranization providing the scholarship.
