Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey

Obtaining a graduate degree is a long-term personal investment. The Student Financial Services Office is here to help you make it possible to cover the cost of attendance not covered by scholarships. We can help facilitate additional resources through federal financial aid and private loans.

Types of Financial Aid

You may apply for U.S. federal and/or private education loans to help pay your tuition and living expenses. International students are eligible for private loans only, with a U.S. cosigner, and may be able to receive education loans from their own countries.

Both U.S. and international students are eligible to apply for work-study positions. These student employment opportunities may help you pay for living expenses, such as rent, food, or entertainment.

U.S. Veterans’ Benefits

We offer up to 100 percent tuition coverage for 75 qualifying U.S. veterans each year through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
