Pursuing higher education is achievable and affordable. We are committed to securing financial resources for our students.
Obtaining a graduate degree is a long-term personal investment. Please use the following pages to explore financial aid opportunities. Our counselors are available to guide you through this process.
All U.S. and international applicants to the Institute master's and bachelor's degree programs are considered for a MIIS merit-based scholarship once they have been admitted. There is no separate application required. Some applicants may receive preferential consideration for this scholarship with our scholarships through partnerships.
Grants are another form of aid that does not need to be repaid. These may be awarded as part of a financial aid package through federal aid. In most cases, only undergraduate students are eligible for federal or state grants. The Institute offers need-based grants to all eligible graduate and undergraduate students. Applicants, both U.S. and international, are able to apply to the Institute need-based grant via our internal financial aid application.
Applicants may choose to apply for federal and/or private education loans to help pay their tuition and living expenses. U.S. students may receive both federal and private education loans. International students are not eligible for U.S. federal loans but may obtain private loans.
All students are eligible to apply to on-campus Institute work-study positions, while students with the Federal Work Study award may apply to on-campus and off-campus work-study positions.
The Institute offers matching funding to government benefits for full tuition to eligible veterans.
To apply for other forms of aid, verify your aid eligibility - You may be eligible for different forms of aid depending on if you are a U.S. or international student, if you are a U.S. Veteran, or if you are affiliated with one of the organizations with which we provide scholarships through partnerships.
All U.S. and international applicants may apply for financial aid by following these steps. Applicants may start the financial aid application for loans, grants and work study awards at any time.

Since we accept applications for admission to our degree programs on a rolling basis, you can apply to our programs at any time. However, we offer a limited number of merit scholarships to students who demonstrate academic and professional excellence. Please submit your completed application for admission by the priority deadlines to be considered for scholarship funds.
You can apply for financial aid at the same time you are applying to a degree program. The priority deadlines are optimal dates for receiving your funding in a timely manner. It is possible both to apply for admission and to apply for financial aid after these dates have passed.
