Obtaining a graduate degree is a long-term personal investment. We're here to help you make your master's degree and dream career possible.

Merit Scholarships

Both U.S. and international applicants to our master's and bachelor's degree programs are eligible for our merit-based scholarships, ranging from $4,000 to $16,000 per academic year. If you're a member or alumnus/a of one of our partner organizations, you may receive preferential consideration for merit scholarships.

How to Apply: Please submit your application by one of our priority scholarship deadlines to automatically receive maximum scholarship consideration.

Need-Based Grants

We also offer need-based grants, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per academic year,  to both U.S. and international students. Through scholarships and need-based grants, you might fund up to 50% of your total tuition at the Monterey Institute.

How to Apply: Submit the need-based grant application by March 1.

Loans

You may apply for U.S. federal and/or private education loans to help pay your tuition and living expenses. International students are only eligible for private loans and may be able to receive education loans from their own countries.

Work-Study

Both U.S. and international students are eligible to apply for work-study positions. These student employment opportunities may help you pay your living expenses, such as rent, food or entertainment.

How to Apply: U.S. students should apply for financial aid to receive federal work-study and be eligible to work both on- and off-campus. International students may apply directly to work-study positions on-campus.

Veterans' Benefits

We offer up to 100% tuition coverage for 75 qualifying veterans through the Yellow Ribbon Program each year. Other programs...
