What is your favorite place in Monterey?
My favorite place in Monterey is the coastline from Fisherman’s Wharf to Lover’s Point. I like going for walks or bike rides along that path. It’s beautiful!!
What internships or jobs have you had while attending MIIS?
I’m currently working as an enrollment assistant in the enrollment office so I can answer all your questions about T&I enrollment!
What are your career aspirations?
I want to sit in the simultaneous interpretation booths in the United Nations as a conference interpreter one day.
Do you have a personal Mantra or quote you live by?
“Just keep swimming.” – Dori
Fun fact about you:
I’ve had scoliosis surgery but that doesn’t stop me from playing volleyball!
If you were a food, you would be:
Chocolate covered sea salt caramels. Yum.
What has been the highlight of your MIIS experience thus far?
Meeting all the wonderful people here and making friends.
And one last thing:
I love music. I have to have music playing almost all the time and this can be a bit of a problem when I should be listening to my own recording or practicing simultaneous interpretation.
