Colombia Program (for MIIS Students Only)

Location: Medellín, Colombia

MIIS students will collaborate with Fundación E2E, founded by Teryn Wolfe, Fulbright Researcher and Executive Director of E2E in 2014. The primary course objective is to provide local actual and future development professionals with practical, innovative tools and skills for development program design, evaluation, strategic partnering and impact measurement.

Dates & Deadlines

  • Program Dates: January 2018 (We will confirm if this program will be offered in 2018 by September 1, 2017)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (with some site visits planned for the weekend)

Application Deadlines

  • General Application Deadline: October 31, 2017

Program Fees

To be announced by Sept. 1 (it will include training fee, homestay lodging and two-meals per day).

Note: Students are responsible for their transportation to and from Colombia.

2 or 4 unit directed study option with Dr. Beryl Levinger (if seeking MIIS credit and financial aid)

Note: This course may fulfill the DPMI Plus training requirement if a 1-unit workshop with Dr. Beryl Levinger is also completed in spring 2018.
