Field Opportunities
The FMS Field Program is an immersive professional learning program in which the participants complete a six-month professional assignment with an organization to utilize FMS skills in the field. Those seeking academic credits must complete a research project in addition to the professional assignment and work under the supervision of an FMS program faculty member.
Successful completion of the research project warrants 6 credits for a letter grade. There is no program fee to participate in the FMS field program although regular tuition rates for those enrolled in the associated academic field course apply. Neither option covers transportation or living expenses.
*Completion of the FMS training is required for participation in the field program.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
There are a limited number of merit-based full and partial scholarships for the FMS training and field program for both students and non-student participants. Learn more about scholarships and financial aid.
