The Monterey Institute of International Studies in collaboration with Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) offers a Business Continuity Certificate.
Fall Dates: Sept 14-15, October 5-6; 26-27
Natural disasters, security breaches, and unforeseen business interruptions can lead to a significant loss of time and valuable resources for any organization. A well designed business continuity plan is a crucial component of any crisis management or enterprise risk management plan in order to mitigate potential losses.
The three weekend (Mar. 9 - 10, Apr. 13 - 14, and May 4 - 5) DRII Business Continuity Certificate is designed for professionals who are new to continuity planning or current planners who are looking for a solid "how-to" guide for building a business continuity program within their organization.
The course is a non-credit certificate program that is designed to introduce the necessary aspects of a holistic business continuity management program and to provide concrete guidance on how to design and implement a plan for the participant’s organization. The course will also cover business continuity planning integration into existing enterprise risk management and crisis management programs.
