DPMI in Monterey, California is offered on the Monterey Institute of International Studies campus.
DPMI in Washington, D.C. is held in a central downtown location each year. There are hundreds of international development organizations headquartered in the DC area. DPMI Washington, D.C. takes advantage of the location with organizational visits and informational sessions with hiring managers.
Students have Saturdays and Sundays free during the three-week program.
The class meets five days each week, leaving ample time in the evenings and during rest days between modules to explore the area and attend events being held at development organizations. The intensive three-week classroom instruction is enhanced by group work, career meetings with instructors and real-time feedback on skills being developed.
A DPMI professional certificate is awarded after submission of a personal reflection paper, due three months following completion of DPMI in Monterey or D.C.
