Application Procedures
To apply for the Development Project Management Institute program, applicants should have a demonstrated interest in international development or project management, either through coursework, research, volunteer or professional work.
This program is for advanced undergraduates, graduate students, and junior professionals, as well as those seeking to enter the field.
Applicants who are not enrolled Monterey Institute students are required to submit the supplemental application materials in addition to this form. Please see application form for details.

International Applicants
International participants may need a visa to attend the program. Please contact dpmi@miis.edu for more information regarding student visa requests. In addition, applicants must be proficient in English. Please see our FAQ section for more information on the English language requirement.
2012 Training Fees
- $1,500 for Monterey Institute and Middlebury College students or alumni
- $2,500 for participants outside of the Monterey Institute and Middlebury College community
- $1,032 for DPMI Cairo program (module one only). (Estimate of additional costs: airfare ($1,400), housing ($400), visa, food, in-country transportation, and other expenses ($650).
Academic credit is available (Monterey Institute tuition fees apply).
All payments should be submitted to the Monterey Institute Cashier's Office.
Not included: cost of food or housing

Summer 2012 Sessions Application Deadline:
Applications are still being reviewed for the summer trainings in Monterey and DC. Apply today as space is limited!
Winter 2013 Sessions Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
Application Deadline for Davis UWC Scholars: February 15, 2012
Application decisions will be made within one week after the application deadline.
After Acceptance To Program: A non-refundable deposit of $100 (for Monterey Institute Students) and $500 (for all external participants) is due April 16, 2012.
*There is no fee to apply to DPMI
Housing
There is no on-campus housing for DPMI in Monterey or DC; however, the Student Affairs Office can assist participants with Monterey housing resources. Students accepted to the DPMI DC program will be sent a housing resource guide.
