Monterey Terrorism Research & Education Program

MonTREP is an "outside-the-Beltway" resource for terrorism studies and related research, performed by highly-talented professors and graduate students at the Institute.

MonTREP professors and students are frequently asked to serve on panels, give presentations, and explain pressing news topics to journalists and other scholars. Using their knowledge, they seek to make connections between seemingly unconnected trends in order to glean more information about possible terrorist threats. MonTREP serves as a source to inform the public and put into context events that relate to the field of terrorism studies.
