Nick Peluso is a graduate research assistant at MonTREP and a second-year student in the Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies Program. He currently specializes in the study of counterterrorism, domestic and international extremist groups, and counterproliferation. Originally from San Diego, Nick graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors degree in political science from San Diego State University in December 2012. During his time at San Diego State University, he worked as a teaching assistant in the history department at Grossmont College and helped taught courses in American and European history. In his free time, Nick enjoys watching baseball, managing the Institute’s coed softball team, and reading historical biographies. Nick is on track to graduate in December 2014 and plans to pursue a career as an analyst.
