Graduate Research Assistant

Lucas Brader

Lucas is an MA candidate in Non-proliferation and Terrorism Studies. His current research is focused on terrorism and counterterrorism in Northern and Western Africa; following recruiting trends, impacts of climate change, and compiling an interactive database on Google Earth. He is also doing research at CNS collaborating on an education project on chemical weapons with the EU. Lucas holds an MA from Middlebury College in Spanish Linguistics and taught at Ohio State University. He has also worked as an interpreter for medical/legal, including work within the US District Court. In his free time, Lucas enjoys Krav Maga and playing soccer.
