Leslie Wukstich, MonTREP Graduate Communications Manager

Leslie Wukstich received a Masters in the Non-proliferation and Terrorism Studies program specializing in terrorism and counterterrorism issues with a special focus on East Asia. She earned double Bachelor of Arts degrees in Chinese language and China Studies from the University of Washington in 2006, within which she focused on Chinese minority studies and comparative religion with an emphasis on East Asia. She is also interested in the growing role of cyber security and the role of open-source intelligence (OSINT) within the intelligence community as well as counter threat finance. She is currently working as the graduate Communications Manager for the Monterey Terrorism Research and Education Program and as a research assistant at the East Asia Non-Proliferation program at CNS. Leslie also served as the Vice President and President of the MIIS Terrorism Studies Club.
