The Monterey Terrorism Research and Education Center seeks to employ Monterey Institute students in a variety of positions that contribute to overall organizational needs. The four types of positions MonTREP offers are listed below:
- Graduate Research Assistant (GRA): Performs research for MonTREP or MonTREP professors.
- Graduate Assistant (GA): Performs administrative or other work related to MonTREP’s mission.
- Teacher’s Assistant (TA): Works with a professor on course development for a specific course.

Typically, positions are for between 5-15 hours and can be paid, based on work-study eligibility. Preference is given to those in their second-semester or further.
