While at MIIS

The Monterey Terrorism Research and Education Center seeks to employ Monterey Institute students in a variety of positions that contribute to overall organizational needs.  The four types of positions MonTREP offers are listed below:

  • Graduate Research Assistant (GRA): Performs research for MonTREP or MonTREP professors.
  • Graduate Assistant (GA): Performs administrative or other work related to MonTREP’s mission.
  • Teacher’s Assistant (TA): Works with a professor on course development for a specific course.

If you are interested in any listed positions or would like us to keep your application on file, please fill out the application form and return it, along with a resume, cover letter, and 2-5 page writing sample, to montrep@miis.edu.  Typically, positions are for between 5-15 hours and can be paid, based on work-study eligibility.  Preference is given to those in their second-semester or further.
